The project operator is Sonae Imobilaria, a subsidiary of the Sonae Sierra group, Portugal's top group in terms of market capitalisation. As bank financing was obtained for nearly 70% of the project cost, Paris Orléans' total investment should be in the order of €6.5 million, paid out in total to date. The shopping centre was inaugurated in September 2007, with a commercialisation rate of almost 100%.

The 2.8 hectare site of the shopping centre is located in the heart of Berlin, near the Alexanderplatz. The catchment area is estimated at around 1.8 million people.The project includes the development of 55,000 m², including a 45,000 m² shopping area and 10,000 m² of recreational and dining space.
