The strategy followed by Paris Orléans involves investing in essentially medium-sized French companies, alongside a financial partner that has a majority stake.

This investment can be in equity and/or in mezzanine debt in LBO transactions, growth capital or in specific real estate transactions with specialised partners.

At present, the investment team has around ten persons who are dedicated to the study, selection, and finalisation and monitoring of investment opportunities.

Today, the team benefits from significant private equity expertise and a major business flow from a longstanding network developed internally and the investment opportunities that the Rothschild Group can provide to Paris Orléans.

In this way, more than 230.0M€ were invested over the two financial years in more than sixty transactions, alongside the major existing private equity funds. The essential portion of these new investments concern companies for which the corporate value is less than 100M€. This is a very active market on which Paris Orléans has positioned itself since 2003/2004.
